About six years ago, i found this demo around called “Desperados: Wanted dead or alive”. It is a strategy game, a point and click one. What you do, is you get a squad of people, Cooper and his friends and try to guide them around so you can complete a mission. It was a nice game, hours of gameplay, but at some points very frustrating. What happened to me, several times i might add, is getting stuck to a point because i was not fast enough with my mouse. I mean, it is a strategy game, not an action one! Anyway, besides that i enjoyed the game, which gave me plenty of fun and trivia to solve. About two years ago, “Desperados 2: Cooper’s Revenge” was released. I didn’t have the time, and curiosity to try it out till a few days ago…
Let me put it in a few words… Almost nothing new. You can see it as an extension of the old game plus a few minor new stuff. One thing was nice though. You can turn the game to a first person game, instead of the panoramic default view. This was nice to see, but (there is always a but huh?), you are playing a strategy game. I mean, if you want a first person shooter or something like that, why not try something special for that category. Anyways, i don’t want to be bitter, it is worth a shot. Download the demo first though 🙂 Following are a few screenies of the game. Also, you can find the game review in gamespot here.
